Managing Contractors

This course follows HSE’s approach to managing contractors.  

Participants will understand what steps they need to take to manage contractors on school premises, the risks associated with contractor’s works and create an effective plan to control them. The importance of co-operation and coordination with contractors, the use of safe systems of work and permits. 

On completion of this course, participants will possess the knowledge and skills required to manage contractors while on site. They will understand the importance of contract co-ordination and cooperation and be able to review safe systems of work.
