This course gives an overview of legislation, including Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, Risk Management, Surveys, Management Plans and Duty to manage.  Participants will understand the risks of asbestos, their specific duties in managing asbestos on the school site and how to complete asbestos management plans. On completing this course, participants will understand the risks of asbestos, their specific duties in managing it within the school, how to complete asbestos management plans and undertake inspections of asbestos-containing materials.
